The Children’s Park & Rec Games Reference has been designed as a tool for park & rec professionals, camp leaders, preschools, teachers, and parents, to give them a reference for games to play with children. It has been created to be of assistance in filling your bag-of-tricks. The games referenced here have come from a variety of sources.
They have all been tried on real children, and I assure you that no kids were harmed in the making of this book.

The book is approximately 4-1/4” x 5-1/2”
spiral bound, and 180 pages. It contains over
120 games.

The book is divided into 3 major sections by colored pages; Getting to Know Each Other/Warm-ups, Games, and Cooperative Activities. Each of the descriptions includes icons to represent the best use of the game. The icons symbolize: small group, large group, and team building games; high level, low level, and rainy day games; and three different age
group categories.

For example, in the “Animal Names” game shown here; the primary focus is getting to know each other & team building. This game is for pre-school or younger children, is for a small group, and is a low level activity game.

There are three separate indexes at the back of the text to assist in looking up games by each of the categories: Game Type, Activity, and Age Group.

For example, you might want to reference only team building games, rainy day games, or games for older children, etc.
